Annie Lennox (2003)
A great album after years of absence. Rich and complex, and suited to contemplative listening. A judicious use of sequencing in the percussion and rhythm is made up for by virtuouso performances in such areas as acoustic guitar. And while Annie occasionally sings outside her tessatura, she's always spot on.
I'm sure Native Guide will not let me listen to this in the car. She will complain that it puts her to sleep. (It's not a dance album, that's certain.)
