Doobie Brothers (2001)
The best boogie pop of the 1970s. In addition to some driving rock, there were the more reflective and compositionally creative songs such as It Keeps You Runnin' and What A Fool Believes.
I caught them in concert at Dayton's Hara Arena in 1979. The opener was an unknown group called the Cars, whom we booed off the stage. And of course, after the concert we slipped off into the park to enjoy a few ... Well, they are the Doobie Brothers!
