Bobby McFerrin (2002)
Every McFerrin album I have has a different flavour. Spontaneous Inventions is full of a capella renditions showing the extremes available from the human instrument. Simple Pleasures features, in addition to the pop Don't Worry, Be Happy, an amazing variety of covers where Bobby's voice stands in for screaming electric guitars and other instruments.
The one is solid jazz, and again Bobby uses his breath, hands and chest for rhythm and percussion while his voice runs from descant melody to buzzing, thobbing harmony and rhythm. He's complimented on this one by the venerable Chick Corea on piano.
